With more than twenty-five years of legal experience, Lauren Blair provides thoughtful and effective legal counsel to individuals and corporate clients. She is a trusted adviser with sound business judgement, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to problem solving. Prior to engaging in private practice in New Jersey, Lauren acted as deputy general counsel for four publicly traded companies, where she worked on a broad array of corporate matters, including: mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, exchange listings, financings, joint venturers, spin-outs, buy-backs, stock option plans, SEC filings, commercial contracts, employment matters, IP licensing and investor relations. In addition to serving her business clients, Lauren counsels individuals in need of advice regarding estate planning and employment issues.
Lauren is admitted in New York and New Jersey. She is a graduate of New York University, School of Law, where she was invited to participate in Moot Court and was an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Law & Politics. She received her B.A. from Skidmore College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and the Periclean Honor Society. Lauren is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association. She currently serves as a panel member and chairperson of the District V-C Fee Arbitration Committee of the Supreme court of New Jersey.
